There is a pleasure in growing that is difficult to explain to someone who only sees the finished harvest. You remember how this plant started. You remember the decisions, the waiting and the week you wondered whether you had got something wrong.

Now it is in your hands.

Growing brings its own conversations. What are you running? How did that turn out? What would you change next time?

Sometimes there is a little competition. Sometimes there is a problem to solve together. Often there is simply someone proud of their work, sharing it with someone who understands.

What goes into the work.

Ingredients matter to us because the growing matters. We want to understand them, formulate with purpose and explain the choices to the person using the bottle.

The result also belongs to the genetics, the environment, the decisions and the care through harvest, drying and curing. A bottle does not get to take credit for all of that.
