A different question from NPK
Fertilisers supply nutrients. Biostimulant research examines effects on processes such as nutrient use and responses to non-living stresses. Ingredients investigated include seaweed extracts, humic substances and protein hydrolysates. A product may also contribute nutrients; its composition still matters.
The category is not a guarantee
A result for one extract, crop or trial does not prove that every blend will do the same thing. Source, processing, dose and growing conditions affect how evidence should be interpreted.
Where ÉLAN fits
ÉLAN is Crazy Hills’ all-cycle biostimulant. It brings seaweed, humic and fulvic fractions, plant amino acids and supporting inputs into one formula. It should be considered alongside a complete nutrition plan.
The useful question to ask
Ask what a particular product is intended to do in your grow, what evidence supports that use, and how you will compare the result. A technical name should help the conversation, not end it.
