Begin with the directions

Use the current label and the mixing instructions for every product involved. Do not mix concentrates together. If you are combining different brands, check compatibility before making a large batch.

Write a mix record

  • Date, water source and total water volume.
  • Product names, batch references and measured quantities.
  • The order and method specified for the products.
  • Final pH and EC where relevant to the growing approach.
  • What the plants actually received.

Understand what a small mixing test can show

A small test can reveal obvious separation or precipitation. It cannot prove crop safety, long-term stability or biological compatibility. Review equipment and storage suitability separately, particularly when using organic materials in irrigation hardware.

Keep quantity and recommendation separate

Our one-mix calculator uses the chart week you select. The cost tool uses your total product consumption to estimate pack purchases and leftovers. Neither chooses the right feeding plan for your grow. Use it once the application plan is agreed, and split stages when doses or irrigation volumes change.
